HOW DO WE SERVE YOU..

Notary Seal Authority is located at 501 West Lancaster Avenue, Wayne PA. We welcome walk-in customers but prefer the scheduled appointment to serve you promptly. We offer mobile notary services designed to travel to your location whenever you need a document notarized for yourself, your business, a client or a loved one.

Meeting the demands of your schedule is a top priority for our company; therefore,

customers may call us or get in touch with us anytime they need a notary. If we are unavailable at the time of your call, please leave a message and, in most cases, we will contact you within minutes.

What you need to have and know:

Signer Identification:

In accordance with state law, each person having their signature notarized MUST personally appear before me and present valid two forms of (unexpired) government-issued Photo ID:

I make no exceptions; please don’t ask me to violate the Revised Uniform Law on Notarial Acts. [57 Pa.C.S. §307]

  • Driver's License

  • Passport

  • State Issued I.D. Card

  • For Financial and Medical Power of Attorney executions, PA law requires you have two adult witnesses who are not named in the documents. Hospitals will rarely provide witness services for liability reasons. These witnesses must also present valid ID.

  • For wills it is best to also have two adult witnesses present who are not named in the will. Google "Pennsylvania Self-Proving Wills".

  • Signer must have read the documents and be competent enough to show that they clearly understand what they are signing. For hospital signings this is very important to know! It is acceptable if the signature is not perfect.

All Parties Present:

All signers of a document MUST be physically present for the notarization. If the document to be

notarized requires more than your signature, please make sure that the person is

present and in possession of the required identification.

Know Your Document:

Know what type of notarization you need—an acknowledgment, Jurat or other—prior

to appointment. This is especially important if the notarial certificate is not attached to

your document! Please ask the organization or person requiring the notarization to

provide you with the notarial statement or to advise the type of notarial statement

needed. Because notaries are not attorneys, we cannot decide the type of notarization

required because it may have important legal ramifications.

Mark Pages To Be Notarized:

Before our notary arrives, mark the page(s) that needs to be notarized if you are

bringing in a large document. Please pay special attention to any blank spaces on the

page to be notarized. If there are blank spaces on the page to be notarized, please put

a line through the space or write "NA" (not applicable). If there are misspellings, please

make the necessary changes on the document.

Notaries Are Impartial

Please remember that notaries are public official appointed by state department. They have duty to remain impartial and prohibited by law from choosing Notarial certificates, preparing documents or providing legal advice.
